Built with snow, a halfpipe is a vertical U-shaped structure used in freestyle snowboarding. Like a skateboarding halfpipe, riders use the opposing walls to get air and perform tricks as they travel down the fall line of the slope.

- Hard boots search for term

Similar to ski boots, hard boots are rigid and made from hard plastic. Hard boots
are used with plate bindings. They are typically used for carving and racing. - Heel edge search for term

A big jump where the landing is located on one side of the jump.

- Hole patterns search for term

The layout of holes on the top of a snowboard, through which the bindings are fastened. There are one, two, three, and four hole patterns. Four hole patterns are the standard.
