  • Discover Snowboarding Program

The Discover Program is open to children ages 8 - High School. The Discover Program is designed to introduce a new snowboarder to Alyeska Resort and to the sport.

  • Explorer Snowboarding Program

The Explorer Program is open to children ages 8 - High School. The Explorer Program is designed for the Intermediate snowboarder. It is designed to fine tune skills, build confidence and develop new techniques.

  • Adult Group Snowboard Lesson

These two-hour group lessons provide an affordable way to learn to snowboard, or improve your snowboarding skills for ages 14 and older.

  • Private Lessons

For one on one attention and the best learning experience, a private instructor can provide snowboard lessons for any ability. Alyeska instructors will teach you with the best techniques and methods available. Build a close working partnership with your instructor and have a great day on the slopes!

Lodging – The chateau-style The Hotel Alyeska, features 304 spacious guest rooms, including a 2,300-foot Royal Suite and three townhouse suites. Each standard guest room consists of either two double beds or one king bed and is furnished with a color television, refrigerator, in-room safe, locking ventilated ski boot storage, heated towel rack, hairdryer, make-up mirror, bathrobes and slippers, voice mail messaging, bathroom telephones, and bedside "Do Not Disturb" controls. The hotel has 17 special needs accommodations and all 304-guest rooms feature a non-audible strobe alarm for hearing impaired guests in addition to standard emergency systems.

Dining – Hotel Alyeska and the Alyeska Resort features a variety of restaurants for the assorted tastes of it guests. From romantic and intimate settings, to live dance music in a bar, you are bound to find what you are looking for at one of these fine venues.

  • Seven Glaciers sits at 2,300 feet above sea level offering panoramic views of Turnagain Arm, the Chugach Mountain Range and seven "hanging" glaciers. Featuring wines from California, Washington and Oregon, Seven Glaciers continues to receive the Wine Spectator Restaurant Award in addition to being one of two AAA Four Diamond restaurants in Alaska. Seven Glaciers signature menu selections include Alaskan King Crab Cakes, Smoked Salmon Bisque, Medallions of Whole Roasted Veal Loin, Cold Smoked & Grilled Alaskan Salmon, and a Trio of Vegetarian Fresh Rolls.
  • The Tramway Cafe is located on the second floor of the Hotel Alyeska. They feature espresso drinks, fresh baked stuffed croissants, cinnamon rolls, seafood chowder, subs, burritos, wraps, pizza and snacks.
  • Sakura Teppanyaki & Sushi Bar offers an entertaining and memorable dining experience. Watch as your chef prepares a masterful meal featuring your choice of live lobster, Alaskan king crab, filet of beef, scallops, New York strip loin, Alaskan salmon, chicken, and shrimp with a variety of wine and sake selections.
  • The Sitzmark, a landmark at Alyeska Resort, is located on the Boardwalk by Chairs 1 and 3. The Sitzmark Bar and Grill features monster burgers and sandwiches and is open daily during the winter.
  • The Pond Café is a family-style restaurant offers something for everyone, including Alaskan favorites. Complement your meal with a glass of wine, locally brewed beer or dessert. The Pond Cafe is located on the second floor of the hotel and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • Glacier Express sits at 2,300 feet above sea level offering panoramic views of Turnagain Arm, the Chugach Mountain Range and seven "hanging" glaciers. Enjoy your choice of soups, salads, burgers, chili, snacks, and beverages while taking in the stunning view and exquisite surroundings. Glacier Express also serves wine, and bottled and draft beer.
  • The Daylodge located at the base of Mt. Alyeska near Chair 4, the Daylodge is a self-serve cafeteria with lots of seating and a great view of all the action on the slopes.

Après - Sitzmark is a fun place to meet friends, have a beverage and listen to great live music. Open Friday and Saturday nights throughout the ski season.

Directions – Alyeska Resort is located just 40 Miles (64km) south of Anchorage and 90 Miles (144km) north of Seward via the Seward Highway, and All American Scenic Byway.
