Snowboarding Resort Profile – Caberfae Peaks Michigan
Caberfae Peaks sometimes referred as “The Alta of The Midwest” was the first ski resort to operate in the Midwest and the third in the nation, behind Sun Valley, Idaho (#1) and Stowe, Vermont (#2). Caberfae has been designated a historical site. Caberfae is located in North Western Lower Michigan.

Lesson Programs – Caberfae Peaks Certified Snowsports School offers Beginner Snowboard group lessons, and beginner to advanced Snowboard private lessons, with the Cabby Kids program designed for kids 4-11 years old.
Lodging – Caberfae Peaks offers slope side lodging at the Mackenzie Lodge with 36 rooms, and a year round heated pool and hot tub.
Dining – Caberfae Peaks has a restaurant in the Mackenzie Lodge for dining, and a cafeteria style area in the Blackmer day Lodge for lunch or a quick snack, with some good food in R-Dubs Pub.
